Vishal Ramadoss received the Bachelor's degree in electrical and electronics engineering from the Anna University, Chennai, India, in 2011. He received the Erasmus Mundus Double degree Master in control and robotics from Ecole Centrale de Nantes, France, in 2014 and in robotics engineering from the University of Genoa, Italy, in 2015. He received the French government scholarship during his master's. He received the Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering and robotics from the University of Genoa, Italy, in 2020, where his contributions were in kinematics and design of redundantly actuated tendon driven complex mechanisms. He concluded his postdoctoral fellow in PMAR Robotics Group at the Department of Mechanical, Energetics and Transport Engineering in 2022 where his contributions were in tensegrity robots, screw theory based modeling and human-robot interaction.
Since September 2022, he is a postdoctoral fellow at Rehab Technologies, Italian Institute of Technology with a specific focus on the kinematics and control strategies of the Float upper limb exoskeleton project.
